Cinder the Shiba Inu Puppy

I was so excited when I got an email enquiry from Cinder’s owner – it’s not every day I get to photography puppies, and such a rare (for Melbourne) breed at that. Shiba’s are an amazingly unique breed, with some very cat like qualities (they clean themselves like cats). They are smart little dogs, so Cinder certainly kept me on my toes! She was the sweetest little pup and it was a delight to photograph her.

Cinder’s session was held at twelve weeks of age, which is the perfect time for puppy shots. Cinder has grown a ton since this session, and we will be doing another session once she’s a grown up – I can’t wait!

Cinder’s favourite toy is her squeaky mouse – which is actually a cat toy!

She’s also very partial to sticks

Cinder also loved my secret weapon – a squeaky rubber chicken. Shiba’s aren’t food driven so we spent a lot of time playing with toys instead

Stalking the photographer!

“Quit it Mum!”
