Speck & Phantom the Shelties – Warragul Pet Photography

As a photographer, there’s no greater honour than when another photographer hires you! Elle is an AMAZING newborn photographer, and she got in touch with me this year to arrange a shoot for her dad as a birthday gift – his beautiful old boy Speck is 15, and has started slowing down a lot. He’s mostly deaf and blind, but his nose was still in great working order! His younger brother Phantom is your typical young Sheltie, an agility super star and full of beans. The shoot was at their beautiful property out in Warragul, Gippsland, and would you believe that it was done in the middle of winter? It was a gorgeous day and the pups brought their best modelling game – check out Speck’s fur blowing gently in the breeze!

Mochi the Toy Poodle in the Royal Botanic Gardens

In this day and age of highly groomed pups, it’s so refreshing to see a poodle left to all his fluffy glory! Mochi is the cutest little fluffball and we had lots of fun roaming around the Botanic Gardens in South Yarra, capturing his mega fluffiness and super cute little face.

Boof & Tarnie the Cattle Dogs

Spring has well and truly sprung here in Melbourne, and I have been LOVING all the beautiful dogs I’ve had the opportunity to photograph this year! Boof & Tarnie were no exception – these two are absolute characters. Tarnie is 13 but you wouldn’t know it, she ran, posed, played, and pushed her brother out of the way for cuddles the whole time. Boof has had two knee operations but he is still a giant ball of energy and is obsessed with the ball. Here’s a preview of two of their perfect faces – such a good looking pair!

Billie & Bentley the Staffies – Project Underdog Rescue Melbourne

These two gorgeous pups were recently rescued from a pound in NSW, and thanks to Project Underdog they are now in foster care and up for adoption here in Melbourne! I had the pleasure of photographing them this week and they are both such characters! Billie is small but full of beans, and she loooooves treats. Bentley is 28kgs but due to a neurological condition, his back legs are a bit wonky – it doesn’t stop him from playing with his sister and going for walks though! If you would like to learn more about Billie and Bentley, you can check out their Pet Rescue profiles .
